FAQs

How challenging is the "Mountain Challenge" tour really?

With a difficulty rating of 4/5 and over 10,000 meters of climbing, this tour is designed for experienced road cyclists who are comfortable with sustained climbs and long days in the saddle. The mountain stages are demanding but incredibly rewarding.

What are the homestay accommodations like?

On this tour, some nights are in homestay-style guesthouses, such as Ban Haeo, Nam Pat, and Na Man. These offer a more authentic local experience, often run by families. While simpler than larger hotels, they are clean, comfortable, and provide unique cultural insight and warm hospitality.

Is there much traffic on the routes?

We prioritize routes on smaller local roads with minimal traffic, especially in the mountainous northern regions. Some sections near larger towns or on approach to destinations may have more traffic, but our guides are experienced in navigating these safely.

What kind of support is provided on the steep climbs?

Our support minibus is always available. On challenging climbs, you can ride at your own pace. The van will often wait at strategic points, and you can take a break, refuel, or hop in if needed. Our team is there to encourage and support you.
