FAQs

Is this Bangkok to Phuket tour suitable for a first-time cycle tourer in Thailand?

Yes, definitely! With a difficulty rating of 2/5 and mostly flat terrain with excellent road surfaces, it's a great choice for experienced beginners and seasoned cyclists alike. The daily distances are manageable, and our full support ensures you can ride at your own comfort level.

What is the Thai cooking class like?

The Thai cooking class, offered on the rest day in Chumphon, is a fun, hands-on experience led by our local Thai guides. You'll learn to prepare several authentic Thai dishes and, of course, enjoy eating your creations! It's a great way to immerse yourself in Thai culture.

How much of the riding is on dedicated cycle paths?

The route incorporates newly developed cycle paths, particularly in the earlier stages leaving larger towns like Hua Hin. While not the entire route is dedicated paths, we prioritize safe roads with good surfaces and scenic backroads wherever possible.

What are the group speed options mentioned?

We typically offer two suggested pace groups (e.g., 23-26 km/h and 27-30 km/h) to cater to different abilities. However, these are flexible and can be adjusted by the guides during the tour to best suit the overall group's preferences and ensure everyone enjoys the ride.
