Experience an ultimate 4-day cycling adventure through the heart of Thailand around Hua Hin. This tour is perfect for both avid cyclists and leisure riders, promising beautiful scenery, fun activities, and delicious Thai cuisine.

Pedal on 320km of traffic-free roads through landscapes, cruise beside lakes in Kaeng Krachan and Sam Roi Yot National Parks, and enjoy experiences like rafting and kayaking. You will get to see mangrove forests, Dolphin Bay beach, and the vibrant Hua Hin night market.

Itinerary

Day 01 :
Hua Hin - Kaeng Krachan (85 km, 500m ascent)

The tour starts at 8 AM from our office in Hua Hin. After a bike fitting and route briefing, we pedal alongside the captivating Huai Mai Tai Lake and through charming farmland to the Kaeng Krachan Dam. Enjoy a lakeside lunch, and in the afternoon, experience rafting in Kaeng Krachan National Park before unwinding at a serene river resort.

Day 02 :
Kaeng Krachan - Jungle Resort (90 km, 877m ascent)

Today 90 km cycling adventure features invigorating short climbs and picturesque back roads through Kaeng Krachan National Park, where you might even spot wild elephants. Our hotel, nestled in the jungle, offers activities like kayaking or simply relaxing by the tranquil river, followed by a delicious Thai dinner.

Day 03 :
Jungle Resort - Sam Roi Yot Beach (77 km, 590m ascent)

Embark on a thrilling journey along the Myanmar mountains, pedaling over rolling hills to your first break at a charming coffee shop with views of Pranburi Lake. After conquering a short climb and enjoying lunch at a local Thai restaurant, the adventure continues through Sam Roi Yot National Park to your resort at serene Dolphin Bay.

Sam Roi Yot Beach - Hua Hin (65 km, 160m ascent)

The final leg guides you along the scenic Unseen beach road, passing two breathtaking bays. Pause at a charming coffee spot by the sea, then cross an iron bridge for a break amidst the Pranburi mangrove forest. A brief ride on a dedicated cycle path takes you into lively Hua Hin town, marking the end of your tour. Night in Hua Hin is not included.

Ich bin mittlerweile schon 3 Touren mit Lucien und seinem großartigem Team gefahren (Bangkok-Phuket, Bangkok-Hanoi, Phuket-LAngkawi). Alle Touren waren großartig in der Organisation von Anfang bis Ende. Die Strecken sind sehr gut und liebevoll geplant, die Räder und Service super, die Hotels fast immer sehr schön, das Essen sowohl Mittags als auch Abends wird sehr liebevoll ausgewählt und auf Extrawünsche wie vegane Ernährung sehr gut eingegangen. We took the 6 day Self Guided Tour from Hua Hin in Thailand. Lucien and Suthara took care of all the planning, providing us with good quality bikes (one hybrid, one e-bike), a full set of gpx files for navigation, and some excellent resorts to stay in each night. We also had him organise daily forwarding of our luggage (this was part of a bigger trip). All the arrangements worked seamlessly. The cycling is not of itself particularly demanding for anyone accustomed to the distances involved but we did find the heat draining. Road surfaces range from decent tarmac roads to gravel tracks and everything in between as you are out in open countryside most of the time. A great way to see Thailand beyond the tourist traps.
