Best Time to Cycle in Thailand (Month-by-Month Guide)

Thailand is a year-round cycling destination — but choosing the right time can make your experience even better.

Here’s a simple breakdown:

November – February (Best Season ⭐)

  • Cooler temperatures (25–30°C)
  • Dry weather
  • Perfect for long-distance cycling

👉 This is peak season for our tours — and for good reason.

March – May (Hot Season 🔥)

  • Temperatures can reach 35°C+
  • Best for experienced riders
  • Early starts recommended

👉 Still great if you handle heat well — coastal routes often have a breeze.

June – October (Green Season 🌿)

  • Short tropical showers
  • Lush green landscapes
  • Less traffic and fewer tourists

👉 Rain usually comes in short bursts — not all-day rain.

So when should you come?

👉 Best overall: November to February
👉 Best value / fewer tourists: June to October
👉 For strong riders: March to May

👉 Our tip: The south (Phuket, coastal routes) has great riding almost all year.
